Mrs. Irma Elizabeth Rawls, age 92, of Griffin, GA passed away on Thursday, September 11, 2014, at Brightmoor Hospice in Griffin.
Mrs. Rawls was born in Greenback, TN, on August 1, 1922, to the late Edmond and Ardilla Crawley. She was preceded in death by her husband Clomer E. Rawls, and her son, Robert Rawls. Mrs. Rawls was a homemaker, a former member of Highland Baptist Church in Griffin and a current member of Hampton Baptist Church in Hampton.
Survivors include daughters and sons-in-laws, Lynette and Ricky Cruse and Glenda and Mike Evans; son and daughter-in-law Tracy and Elizabeth Rawls; daughter-in-law Nelda Rawls; 8 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Mrs. Rawls will be conducted on Sunday, September 14 at 4 p.m. at the chapel of Heritage Funeral Home in Griffin, GA. Ministers Eddie Sisson and Larry Lawrence will officiate. There will be a private family interment following the service. Friends may visit the family on Saturday, September 13, 2014 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Heritage Funeral Home.
