Mr. J. C. Dingler, age 71 of Griffin, passed away Friday, May 17, 2013 at his residence.
Mr. Dingler was born in Griffin, on September 14, 1941 to the late Quinton Dingler and the late Vadie Dingler.
Survivors include his sisters and brothers-in-law, Peggy and Eddie Jones, Kay and Jeff Carter, Fay Garvin, and Quinnette and Tim Lovelady all of Griffin; brothers and sister-in-law, Bobby Dingler of Miami, FL, and Tim and Sherrie Dingler of Williamson; aunts, Margaret Woodson and Mildred Helms; special cousin, Charles Goodson and several cousins, nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services for Mr. J. C. Dingler will be conducted on Monday, May 20, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Heritage Funeral Home. Reverend Marty Helms will officiate. Interment will follow in Fairview Baptist Church Cemetery in Brooks. Friends may visit the family on Sunday evening from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family will accept contributions to be used toward funeral expenses for Mr. J. C. Dingler.
