Mr. J. Thomas Jolley, Jr., 58 of Homeland, Ga. passed away Wednesday afternoon, January 5th, 2011 at Charlton Memorial Hospital in Folkston.
Mr. Jolley was born in Charlotte, North Carolina on May 3rd, 1952. He is the son of the late Earl W. and Kathryn Walters Hutchinson. Mr. Jolley grew up in Jacksonville, Fl. and graduated from Robert E. Lee High School in 1970. He became an Eagle Scout. After high school, Mr. Jolley worked in a mixture of trade fields. His love of music took him into assorted clubs and arenas as a sound engineer for bands. He was also a licensed truck driver for over 20 years and pursued being a barber at various times. He was a football fan, owned a motorcycle, which he loved to ride and had recently found the joys of fishing on the water in his boat. He will be sadly missed by his family and friends.
Mr. Jolley is survived by his son, Eric C. Jolley of Homeland; his two sisters Jackie Learn and Patsy Jolley, both of Jacksonville, Fl.; his niece, Stephanie Jolley and his nephews, Scott and Bryan Learn
The funeral service will be held privately.
The family requests memorial contributions to be made to Heartland Hospice / 664 Scranton Road, Suite 103/ Brunswick, Ga. 31523.
