Mr. James “Jimmy” Dowling, Jr. of the Browntown Community in Kingsland, Ga. passed away Wednesday, September 7th, 2016 at St. Vincent’s Community Hospice in Jacksonville, Florida.
Mr. Dowling was born July 2nd, 1967 in St. Marys, Ga. to the late James and Fredda Crews Dowling.
Mr. Dowling was well known and loved throughout the community. He was employed with Keene Exterminating for thirty years and was a valued employee. Mr. Dowling had a kind heart and soul and he was a loving husband, brother, son, and uncle. He will be missed greatly by all that knew and loved him.
Mr. Dowling is survived by his beloved wife, Paphada Tik Dowling of Kingsland, Ga.; his sisters, Darlene (Dale) Carter, Cindy (Danny) Daniels, and Beth (Bill) Soles, all of Kingsland, Ga.; his aunt, Edna (Donnie) Sylvester of Kingsland, Ga,; his nieces and nephews, Erica Carter (and fiancé, Logan Daughtrey), Amanda (Remi) Buttinghausen, Brittany Soles, and Brandon Soles; and his great nephew, RJ Buttinghausen.
Calling hours for Mr. Dowling will be from 6 PM to 8 PM Friday, September 9th, 2016 at Coastal Camden Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held at 10 AM Saturday, September 10th, 2016 at High Bluff Cemetery in Hoboken, Ga. with Joe McSwain presiding. Honorary Pallbearers will be Doug Benton, Edward Bruce, Robbie Nettles, Michael Benton, Lee Barber, Pat Murray, and Alfred Meunier.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made in Mr. Dowling’s name to the Community Hospice.
