James “David” Hartness, age 65, of Conyers, GA, passed away Monday, May 15, 2017, at Sacred Journey Hospice in McDonough, GA.
James “David” Hartness was born on September 4, 1951 in Atlanta, GA to the late Carl Robert Hartness and the late Helen Lucille Hartness.
Survivors include his wife Valerie Hartness; daughter and son-in-law Jamie and Clayton Hill; son and daughter-in-law Michael and Lisa Debord; sisters and brothers-in-law, Sandy Souther, Linda and Doug Sheets, and Teri and Walt Collins; brothers and sister-in-law, Jerry and Janice Hartness, and William Hartness; and grandchildren Justin Debord and Walker Debord.
Funeral services for James “David” Hartness will be held on Thursday, May 18, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Heritage Funeral Home. Reverend Scott Hartness will officiate. Interment will follow in Fairview Memorial Gardens in Stockbridge. Friends may visit with the family one hour prior to the service on Thursday at the funeral home.
