James Holbrook

Mr. James Willard Holbrook, age 61 of Kingsland, Ga. passed away at his sister & brother in law’s residence in Kingsland on Saturday, October 13 th , 2018.
Mr. Holbrook was born in Providence, Rhode Island on January 13 th , 1957. He is the son of the late Welcome Williard & Hazel Edith Siefert Holbrook. Mr. Holbrook was a veteran of the US Army, with some of his service time being a part of the defense forces in South Korea. He later became a professional truck driver and also was a part of the general labor force, working in various job capacities. He loved to fish and hunt. He was diagnosed with terminal lung cancer in September of 2017 and he has fought the good fight up until the end. He will be greatly missed by both his friends and family.
Mr. Holbrook is survived by his daughter, Abigail E. Holbrook of W. Kingston, RI; his sons, Wayne Scott (Sarah) Holbrook of Coventry, RI & Jeremiah James Holbrook of W. Kingston, RI; his siblings, Michael (Joyce) Holbrook of St. Augustine, Fl., David (Ruth) Holbrook of Pawcatuck, Cn., Stephen (Tammy) Holbrook of Greenville, SC, Kenneth Holbrook of S. County Trail, RI, Gail (William) Stettler of Kingsland, Ga., Lisa Tidwell of RI., Karen Murray of Kingsland, Ga. & Wayne (Dee) Holbrook in Larksville, Pa.; and his grandchildren, Graham, Jonah, Kaleb & Bradon.
A memorial gathering will be held starting at 5PM on Friday, November 9 th , 2018 at the Bradford Citizens Club in Bradford, Rhode Island.
