Mr. James “Curt” Watson, age 46, of Zebulon, passed away on Monday, March 7, 2016 at home.

Mr. Watson was born on September 23, 1969 in East Point Georgia to Janet Price and the late James Carlos Watson, Jr. He was also preceded in death by his grandparents, J C and Irene Watson of Union City, and Tat and Mary Tatterson of Griffin. Mr. Watson was a member of Union Baptist Church. He enjoyed golfing, riding his Harley Davidson, visiting the mountains and beach, playing Black Ops, playing paint ball, hunting and fly fishing.

Mr. Watson is survived by his wife of 23 years, Kelly Nix Watson; daughter, Hannah Noelle Watson; mother and stepfather Janet and Floyd Price of Milner; mother and father-in-law, Cherry and Robert Nix; sister Carla (Ken) Sampson; brother, Shane (Lynn) Watson; step brother Jeffrey Price, and step sisters Judy Evans and Regina Estevez; brother-in-law David (Lisa) Nix; nieces, Alyssa Watson, Janna Smith, Macy Williams, and Mary-Kate Nix; and nephews, Sean Watson and David Nix, Jr.

Funeral services for Mr. James “Curt” Watson will be held on Thursday, March 10, 2016, at 2:00 p.m. at Union Baptist Church. Reverend Tim Conort, Reverend Benny Tate and Pastor David Nix, Jr. will officiate. Friends may visit with the family Wednesday evening from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
