Ms. Janice Beatrice Griffin , age 59 of Nassau Co., Fl. & Camden County, Ga. passed away on Monday, September 5th. 2016 at the Warner Center of Community Hospice in Fernandina Beach, Fl. surrounded by her family.
Ms. Griffin was born in Folkston, Ga. on August 26th, 1957. She is the daughter of the late, Frances O’Berry & Clyde Allen Crews, I. She loved having her family around and cooking big meals. She was a caregiver, always putting others in front of herself. She loved her kids and grandkids more than anything in the world. She will be greatly missed,
Ms. Griffin is survived by her sons, Edwin &Teresa Griffin of Kingsland, Ga., Jeremy ‘Bubba’ Griffin of Yulee, Fl. and Josh & Tatiana O’Neal of Kingsland, Ga.; her sisters, Maria Lloyd of Folkston, Ga. and April & Johnathan Hickman of St. Marys, Ga.; her grandchildren, Arielle Griffin, Donnie Griffin, Janie Griffin, Brittany Griffin, Katherine Griffin, Isaiah Jackson, Jeremy Griffin, Amber Griffin, Banner Griffin Jr., Bridgette Griffin, Corey Griffin, Kelsey Prefontain, Peyton Griffin, Edwin Griffin Jr., JP O’Neal, Able O’Neal and Alexis O’Neal; her numerous nieces and nephews, and her beloved longtime friend & companion, Paul O’Neal of Yulee, Fl.
Along with her parents, Ms. Griffin joins her husband, Donald “Donnie” Lee Griffin Jr.; her son, Banner Griffin; her sisters, Cathy Crews & Tina Hand; her brothers, Edwin & Allen Crews, and her grandchild, Camden Griffin in Heaven.
A graveside visitation and funeral service will be held from 1-2:50 pm and 3 pm respectively on Thursday, September 8th, 2016 at Colesburg Cemetery in Woodbine, Ga., with Pastor Justin Ray of the Woodbine Missionary Baptist Church presiding.
