Jarvis Bibbs

Jarvis C. (Bean) Bibbs, age 26, a lifelong resident of Griffin passed away Saturday, September 22, 2012 surrounded by family and friends at Grady Hospital.
He was preceded in death by his father, Larry Bibbs I; grandparents, Thelma and Ludie Cofield, John and Leoma Bibbs; Nieces, Shirley Porter, Geraldine Thomas, Frances Cofield, Lena Mae Sullie, and Juanita Bibbs.
He is survived by his children, Kissah McCrary and Jarvis Davenport; his loving mother, Janet Bibbs; two brothers, Larry Bibbs II and Joshua Bibbs; aunts and uncles, Evelyn Cofield, Joanne Cofield, Charles Cofield, Earl Cofield, Walter Bibbs, Joe Bibbs, Johnnie Mae Stargell, Gloria Fuller, and Lottie Bibbs; nieces, nephews, and cousins: Juanice Jackson, Geraldine Cofield, Valerie Cofield, Nicolas Cofield, Shantella Jefferson, Chico Fuller, Red Fuller, Jackie Fuller, Alex Bibbs, Nita Stargell, Dinise Stargell, Denise Stargell, Willie Stargell, Tina Sullivan, Charles Sullivan, Michael Bibbs, Jimmy Warren Sr, Leon Warren Sr, Lewis Warren, Kaye Moses Thomas, Ellis William, Robert Johnson, Audie Aponte, Brother Williams and a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.
Funeral services for Mr. Jarvis Bibbs will be held on Friday, September 28, 2012 at 11 a.m. at the Rising Star Baptist Church in Griffin with Pastor Duff presiding and Rev. Jeremiah Lyons (Eulogy). Interment will follow in Griffin Memorial Gardens on Dobbins Mill Rd. in Griffin. Friends may visit the family on Thursday evening September 27, 2012 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
