Jessie Allen Smoaks , 52, of St. Marys passed away unexpectedly at his residence on Sunday June, 26 th , 2011.
Mr. Smoaks was born on the island of Bermuda on Kindley AFB on May 22 nd , 1959. He is the son of the late Robert Allen and Helen Titus Lemmond. Mr. Smoaks served in the US Army for 8 years and later became an industrial painter, working in the North Florida and Charleston, SC. Shipyards.
He is survived by his wife, Tania L Saucier Smoaks of St. Marys; his son, Adam (Aubrey) Smoaks of Jacksonville, FL; his sister, Pat (Ron) Davis of Tucson, AR; his brothers, Larry and Stephen Lemmond both of Tucson, AR; and two grandchildren.
A celebration of life is planned at a later date with his ashes to be scattered in the Gulf of Mexico.
