Joan Lucky

Joan Amos Lucky peacefully entered into eternal rest on Thursday, March 25, 2021 at the age of 86. Beloved wife of the late Joe S. Lucky. Daughter of the late Stafford E. Amos and Edith I. Peeples Amos. Loving mother of Joel S. Lucky (Julie) and Stafford C. Lucky (Kristie). Loving Grandmother of Madison Lucky (Peyton), Mason Lucky, Jordan Lucky and Carson Lucky. Beloved sister of Leslie Chaffin (Tom) and Aunt of Stephanie Cheatem (John). Joan was born in Louisville, Mississippi and resided in Luling, Louisiana. She was a Speech Language Pathologist for 45 ½ years in St. Charles Parish. Due to the COVID Pandemic, attendees are limited to 100 persons. Each attendee is required to wear their face mask for the duration of the visitation and funeral service. Family and friends are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, Louisiana on Monday, March 29, 2021 from 11AM until 1PM. Funeral Services will be held at the funeral home on Monday at 1PM. Graveside services will be held at a later date at Brazell-Peeples Cemetery under the direction of Coastal Camden Funeral Home, 935 East King Avenue, Kingsland, Georgia.
