Ms. Joan M. Pafford, age 89 of Kingsland, Ga. passed away on the evening of Thursday, August 26th, 2021 in Fernandina Beach, Fl.
Ms. Pafford was born on December 9th, 1931 in Kingsland, Ga. to the late Shedwick and Mary Estelle Brazell.
Her family said, “Momma loved going to sit by the river talking about the past. enjoyed visiting the local stores to shop and chat with everyone she knew, her recipe collection and she loved the holiday season.” She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Ms. Pafford is survived by her daughter Kay (Bill) Haynie; her sons, John Pafford and Randall Pafford; her grandchildren, Jordon (Jessica) Pafford, Falon (Ben) Struggels, Brooke (Steve) Cloud, Callie (Trevor) Dobrowski, and Rachel (Skip) Swain; and her great-grandchildren, Olivia, Rykar, Scarlytt, Nadylie, Alexys, Miles, and Flynn.
Besides her parents, Ms. Pafford was also preceded in passing by her brother, Leonard Brazell.
A visitation will be held from 10 am to 11 am Monday, August 30, 2021 at Coastal Camden Funeral Home. A service will follow at 11 am in the Woods-Wainwright Chapel of the funeral home with words by John Cooner. Private burial will be held in Brazell-Peeples Cemetery.
