Lottie Burnette (nee Champion) announced the death of her husband, John “Tump” Burnette on Saturday, December 13, 2014.
John was born in Griffin and was a football star and captain of the football team at Fairmont High School, class of 1959.
Friends may visit with the family on Saturday, December 20, 2014 from 10:45 a.m. until 12:00 noon at the funeral home. Graveside services will follow at Griffin Memorial Gardens at 12:30 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Allen Temple Building Fund, in memory of John Burnette, Allen Temple AME, ATTN: Erica White, 7080 Reading Road, Cincinnati, Ohio, 45237.
