John Fleury

Mr. John O. Fleury of St. Marys, Georgia passed away June 24th, 2023 from natural causes. He moved to Camden County from Royal Oak, Michigan to begin a career with a local radio station. He leaves his brother, Louis Fleury, sister-in-law, Marilyn Fleury. John's nephew is Douglas Fleury, his wife Laura, and five daughters, Ella, Sofia, Camila, Selena, and Daniela of Michigan. and John's niece, Gena Fleury Staszek and her husband Rob Staszek, all of Royal Oak, Michigan.

He also leaves behind his love and friend, Patricia Graham and her children, David Davitt, Jaclyn Tvrdik and her husband Ronald Tvrdik of Kingsland, Georgia. He also leaves three grandsons he called his own, Michael Clark, AJ Clark, Nicholas Tvrdik and a great-granddaughter, Everly Tvrdik of Kingsland, Georgia.

Mr. Fleury was employed by KBAY 106.3 for twenty-five years doing everything from writing commercials, reporting the news, and implementing a daily live on the air show for his listeners. His voice was well known in Camden County. He loved his family and friends, loved animals, was a very kind man, with a great sense of humor, he enjoyed reading books, playing golf and was a true fan of all sports, he was a fan of the Detroit Red Wings and the Jacksonville Jaguars.

A memorial service for Mr. Fleury will be held from 5 pm to 7 pm Wednesday, July 5th, 2023 at Coastal Camden Funeral Home in Kingsland, Ga.
