Mr. John Lester, age 92, of Griffin, GA, passed away on Friday, October 10, 2014, at Brightmoor Nursing Center.
Mr. Lester was born in Griffin, GA, on November 10, 1921 to the late John Lee Lester, Sr. and the late Rossie Rawls Lester. He was preceded in death by his son Tommy Lester and sister Florence Lester Zellner. Mr. Lester was an insurance investigator and a Veteran of the United States Army.
Survivors include his wife Nell Dallas Lester; daughter Linda Richardson; grandchildren Jennifer Lollar, Chris Lester, Mark Novell and Deana Novell; great grandchildren Rylan, Dylan and Isabelle Lollar, Jessica, Alex and Mia Lester, and Caleb, Shawn, Alexandria and Zachary Novell; and several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Lester’s wishes were to be cremated.
