John Nesmith

Mr. John Calvin NeSmith , age 63 of St. Marys, Ga. passed away at his residence midafternoon on Thursday, November 24 th , 2016 after an extended illness.
Mr. NeSmith was born in Candler County, Ga. on September 30 th , 1953. He is the son of the late Rovina Brown & Willie Lee NeSmith. Mr. NeSmith was a US Army veteran, serving during the Vietnam era. He later became a professional chauffer and charter bus driver for various limousine services and touring bus lines, including the wine tours of Napa Valley in California. Mr. NeSmith loved the Lord and was an avid reader of God’s word. He had read the Bible cover to cover on many occasions. In his later years, illness had reduced his physical abilities, but his faith and spirit never wavered. He will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved him.
Mr. NeSmith is survived by his sisters, Teresa Mary (Lamar) Dickerson of Rock Hill, SC, Ethyl Faye (Jim) Brown of Daytona Beach, Fl., Rovina Jeanette NeSmith of Union, WV; his brothers, Jim NeSmith of Kingsland, Ga., Willie Ray NeSmith of St. Marys, Ga., Samuel Willie NeSmith of KY, Julian Carl (Cindy) NeSmith of Wichita, KS, Danny Frank (Michelle) NeSmith & Joseph Willie NeSmith all of Daytona Beach, Fl.
Besides his parents, Mr. NeSmith joins his daughter, Sonya, his sisters, Betty Mae Schnur & Mary Catherine Favura, and his sister-in-law, Molly NeSmith is Heaven.
Calling hours for the NeSmith family will be from 2-3:45 PM on Thursday, December 29 th , 2016 at Coastal Camden Funeral Home with funeral services to follow there at 4 PM with Pastor Doug Gibson presiding.
