John Oxenford

Mr. John Stewart Oxenford, age 53, of Jackson, GA, passed away on Tuesday, April 29, 2014 at his residence.

Mr. Oxenford was born on January 7, 1961 in Valley Forge, PA to the late Daniel G. Oxenford and the late Joanne Stewart Oxenford. He was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church in Jackson. Mr. Oxenford worked very hard to obtain his license to be a boat captain. He also loved to fish and hunt.

Mr. Oxenford is survived by his wife, Lynn Oxenford of Jackson; sister and brother-in-law, Kay and Kenny Batchelor of Jackson; brothers and sister-in-law, Danny and Carol Oxenford of Griffin, Glen Oxenford of Jackson and several nieces and nephews.

Memorial services for Mr. John S. Oxenford will be held on Saturday, May 3, 2014 from 12-4pm at the family’s residence.
