Mr. John Daniel Rape, age 42 of Griffin, GA passed away Sunday, September 22, 2013 at Saint Joseph’s Hospital of Atlanta.
Mr. Rape was born on January 16, 1971 in Griffin, GA to Jimmy Smith and Virginia Pauline McWaters Rape. He was a painter for Accessory Overhaul Group, Inc. and a member of Second Baptist Church. John was very active in the Spalding County Softball association and the ASA.
Survivors include his daughters, Lora Alysa Rape and Baleigh Grace Rape; his mother, Virginia Rape; father, Jimmy Smith; sisters and brothers-in-law, Gina and Grover Fraley, Rhonda and Joel Brady, Trellis and Harvey Gillihan and Denise Argoe of Griffin; a niece and several nephews.
