Mr. John G. Riggins, age 95, of Griffin, passed away on Sunday, May 21, 2017 at Brightmoor Hospice.
Mr. Riggins was born on September 4, 1921 in Neal, GA to the late Alvin Glen Riggins and the late Lillie Pearl Riggins. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Ola Riggins and grandson, Tim Riggins. Mr. Riggins was a WWII veteran of the U S Army. He retired after 32 years of work with the U. S. Postal Service.
Survivors include his daughter and son-in-law, Joy and Randy Webster of Macon, GA; sons and daughters-in-law, Kenneth and Liyang Riggins of Sweetwater, AL, Glen and Kathy Riggins of Smyrna, GA, Darryl and Carolyn Riggins of Tucker, GA, and Phillip and Sandy Riggins of Pittsburgh, PA; 7 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
A graveside service for Mr. John G. Riggins will be held on Saturday, May 27, 2017 at 12:00 p.m. at Oak Hill Cemetery. Rev. Jim Cannady will officiate.
