Mr. John Robin Sweat, age 55 of St. Marys, Ga., passed away on the morning of Tuesday, October 31
st
, 2023 at St. Vincents in Jacksonville, Fl.
Mr. Sweat was born on August 22 nd , 1968 in Blackshear, Ga. to the late John Sweat and Mary Campbell.
Robin was a great man who never met a stranger. He had a great sense of humor and never missed an opportunity to have a good laugh. He had a generous heart and wouldn’t hesitate to help anyone in need. He loved Disney, Star Wars and Football. He was always excited to go a cruise or a fishing trip. He loved to enjoy those things with family and friends and believed that the more the merrier.
Mr. Sweat is survived by his daughters, Tessa Jacobs of Kingsland, Ga. and Taylor Sweat of St. Marys, Ga.; his sisters, Mary “Becky” (Darrell Hinton) McNeil and Darlene (Jason) Denison, all of St. Marys, Ga., Ranee (Willie) Lynn and Morgan (Keith) Cason, all of Blackshear, Ga.; his grandchildren, Zelda Sloan, Chelsea Wood, Evelyn Wood, and Florence Jacobs; his special nephew, Wade (Jennifer) Sweat and many nieces, nephews, and cousins; along with his special friend, Shelby Norman.
Besides his parents, Mr. Sweat was also preceded in death by his infant sister, Marlene.
We will be gathering to celebrate Robin and his wonderful life on November 11th, 2023 at 4 pm at The Harbor Worship Center, 140 Colerain Road Kingsland, GA 31548 .
