Mr. Jonathan David Parker, age 56, passed away on the evening of Thursday, June 6

, 2024 at his home in Kingsland, Ga.
Mr. Parker was born on October 1 st , 1967 in Schenectady, Ny. to the late Joan Affinito.
Jon served as a naval submariner in the United States Navy for over 20 years and retired honorably in 2005. However, the job he loved the most was being a Dad and Jon Boogie to his granddaughters. He had a passion for pursuing knowledge and living life to the fullest. Jon was also extremely giving without ever looking for recognition. Those of us who were able to find his true friendship got to be in the presence of a genuine soul. The loss of his larger than life personality will be felt by many
Mr. Parker is survived by his son, Cameron (Jessie) Parker of Ocoee, Tn.; his sister, Terri Parker and sister in law, Amanda Affinito, all of New York; and his granddaughters, Scarlett Parker and Holly Parker.
Mr. Parker was preceded in death by his mother, Joan Affinito and his brother, Scotty Affinito.
Arrangements for a memorial in his honor will be announced at a later date.
