Joseph Bunn

Mr. Joseph Ellis Bunn, age 82 of Griffin, GA passed away Sunday, June 3, 2012 at Brightmoor Hospice.
Mr. Bunn was born on May 21, 1930 in Jonesboro, GA to the late Joseph Grady Bunn and the late Bessie Crews Bunn. He was also preceded in death by brothers, Aubrey and Philip Bunn. He was retired from the Civil Service as a Comptroller. Mr. Bunn was a member of Crestview Baptist Church and a Veteran of the U.S. Army having served in Korea.
Survivors include his wife of 48 years, Phyllis Brannon Bunn of Griffin; daughter and son-in-law, Alicia and Dan Smith of Griffin; grandchildren, Brannan, Madison and Matthew Smith; brothers and sisters-in-law, Wayne and Joyce Bunn of Griffin, Bobby and Polly Bunn of Port St. Joe, FL.
Funeral services for Mr. Ellis Bunn will be conducted on Tuesday, June 5, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at Crestview Baptist Church. Reverend Tim Riordan and Reverend Thomas Hill will officiate. Interment will follow in Westwood Gardens. Friends may visit the family Monday evening from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
