Joseph Drury

Mr. Joseph Wade Drury , age 63 of Kingsland, Ga. passed away in the late morning hours of Saturday, July 9th, 2016 at Southeast Georgia Health System in Brunswick, Ga.
Mr. Drury was born in Savannah, Ga. on February 13th, 1953. His parents are the late Jimmie Kirkland Drury & Ernest Donovan Drury. Mr. Drury attended high school in Camden County. He later joined the ranks of the US Army in 1973 as a Military Policeman and served in Germany. He was honorably discharged in 1979. After military service, Mr. Drury became a member of Georgia Pacific’s maintenance team. He became their lead maintenance man with 33+ years of service this year until medical issues became too overwhelming. Mr. Drury enjoyed being outdoors. He kept busy on his off time with wood building projects, preforming household repairs or anything that needed mechanical or building attention. He will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved him.
Mr. Drury is survived by his beloved wife of over 24 years, Virginia Drury; his daughter, Ashley Raulerson and her husband, Stuart of Jacksonville, Fl.; his sons, Bobby Hall of Thomasville, Ga. and Wade Drury of Waycross, Ga.; and his grandchildren, Agnes & Audrey Raulerson of Jacksonville, Fl.
Calling hours for the Drury Family will be from 10 to 12 pm on Wednesday, July 13th, 2016 at Coastal Camden Funeral Home in Kingsland, Ga. The funeral services will be held graveside later at 1 pm in Oak Grove Cemetery in St. Marys, Ga. with Pastor Bob Hughes presiding.
