Joyce Carter

Mrs. Joyce Mae Carter , age 60 passed away on Thursday, January 7th, 2016 at Southeast Georgia Health Systems in Brunswick, Ga.
Mrs. Carter was born in Jacksonville, Fl. on October 6th. 1955. She is the daughter of the late Allie Mae Tomlinson &William C. Byrd, Sr.
She was a homemaker and liked anything outdoors. She liked spending time with her family and friends. Mrs. Carter was of the Baptist faith.
Mrs. Carter is survived by her children, Sonya (Charles) Johnson of Ft. Carson CO.’ Amanda (Phillip) Marr of Waverly, GA., Donald ‘Donnie’ (Jo) Pearson of Woodbine, GA.; her siblings, Bobbi (Bill) Wilkins of Mabelville, AR., Nancy Arnold of Benton, AR. and Donald Byrd of Villarica, FL.
Besides her parents, Mrs. Carter joins her son, Glenn Russell Carter in Heaven.
Memorial services will be held at 2 pm Sunday, February 7th, 2016 at the home of her son at 600 Lang Ave. Woodbine, Ga.
