Mrs. Joyce Griffith Hausser of Griffin passed away Saturday, June 2, 2012.
Mrs. Hausser was born on April 4, 1946 in Springfield, Ohio to the late Luther Griffith and the late Margaret Little Griffith. She was a teacher at Cowan Road Elementary School. Mrs. Hausser had worked in the Spalding County School System for the past 22 years working with special needs children.
Survivors include her husband Alan Hausser of Griffin; son, Robert Hausser of Griffin; daughters and son-in-law, Heather Hausser of Griffin, Joanna and James Weaver of Cairo, Georgia; and grandchildren, Rivka and Fransiska Weaver.
Funeral services for Mrs. Joyce Hausser will be conducted Wednesday, June 6, 2012 at 3:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Heritage Funeral Home. Reverend Jim Weaver will officiate. Interment will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery. Friends may visit the family on Wednesday from 1 p.m. until the funeral hour at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Spalding County Special Olympics in memory of Mrs. Joyce Hausser.
