Juanita Omahen

Mrs. Juanita L. Omahen, age 74, of Locust Grove, GA, passed away on Sunday, June 28, 2015 at her residence.

Mrs. Omahen was born on October 29, 1940 in Macon, GA to the late Floyd Rutland and the late Estelle Rutland. She was also preceded in death by her son, Gary Omahen.

Survivors include her daughter, Kathleen Omahen; grandchildren, Angela Taylor, Shawn Omahen, Heather Taylor, Alanna Omahen-Wilson and Amanda Omahen; sister, Shirley Jones; and brother, Larry Rutland.

Funeral services for Mrs. Juanita L. Omahen will be held on Thursday, July 2, 2015 at 1 p.m. in the chapel of Heritage Funeral Home. Chaplain Jim Weathers will officiate. Interment will follow in Westwood Gardens. Friends may visit the family on Wednesday evening from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the American Heart Association, Greater Southeast Affiliate, at 1101 Northchase Parkway, Suite 1, Marietta, GA 30067-6411.
