Mrs. Karen Loretta Parker , 46 of Kingsland passed away at the South East Georgia Health System’s Brunswick Campus, Friday evening October 30th, 2009.
Mrs. Parker is a Duval County, Florida native. She was born in Jacksonville on January 17th, 1963 and is the daughter of Thomas Clarence Hull, Jr. and the late Ethel Arlene Henry Brown. Mrs. Parker attended ?Edmund Kirby-Smith Junior High School in Jacksonville. She was married to her beloved husband Timothy on July 28th, 1977 in Kingsland. Here she became a house wife and mother and they have shared over 32 years of life and love together. Mrs. Parker was an avid Florida Gators and Jacksonville Jaguars fan. She enjoyed crocheting and spending quality time with her family and grandchildren. She will be sadly missed.
Mrs. Parker is survived by her husband, Timothy Allen Parker, Sr. of Kingsland; her daughter Melanie Parker (Alex) of Yulee, Fl.; her sons, Timothy A. Parker, Jr. (Tiffany) and Thomas Parker (Lisa) both of Kingsland; her father, Thomas C. Hull, Jr. ( Marcy) of Jacksonville, Fl. ; her step father, Preston Brown of Vernon, Fl. ; her sister Robin Lynn Bechiom (Rick) of Waycross; her brothers, Michael and David Hull both of Jacksonville, Fl.; her brother in law, Jerry Reddin of Jacksonville, Fl. and her 4 grandchildren.
Along with her mother, Mrs. Parker was also preceded in death by her sister, Sharon Reddin and her brother, Thomas C. Hull, III.
A visitation will be held from 6 to 8 PM Wednesday, November 4th, 2009 at the funeral home.
The funeral service will be held graveside at 1 PM, Thursday November 5th, 2009 in the Hughs Cemetery in Yulee, Fl. with Pastor Edward Dixon presiding.
