Ms. Kathrine Dianne Pittman Griffin, age 65, passed away on the evening of Wednesday, August 16
th
, 2023 at home in Woodbine, Ga.
Ms. Griffin was born on November 27 th , 1957 in Folkston, Ga. to the late Carlton and Mattie Pittman.
Ms. Griffin was a kind and loving mother who raised her four children with the loving support of her family. She opened up her heart and home to anyone in need, especially children and young adults. She was always willing to help ‘get you on your feet’ asking for nothing in return. Outside of her home she devoted 27 years as a manager for Flash Foods. She enjoyed her job and more importantly “her” customers and the friends she met along the way. She was always someone you could count on and call for an encouraging word. She was the heart and rock for her family. She was loved so much and will truly be missed.
Ms. Griffin is survived by her children, Diane Griffin, Ronald (Ashlee) Griffin, Ginny (Matt) White and Kristy Sutton; her sister, Linda (Herbert) Peeples; her brother, Ronnie Pittman; her grandchildren, KW Sutton, III, Katie-Lynn Sutton, Jennifer White, Jameson White, Ronald Griffin, Jr., Mark Griffin, and Luke Griffin; and her numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her brothers Alex Pittman Sr., Dillon (Sherri) Pittman and her sister Annette (Keith) Lipham.
A private memorial service will be held by the family at a later date.
