Kenneth Hamer

Mr. Kenneth M. Hamer, age 84 of Kingsland, Georgia. passed away at his residence in the early afternoon on Wednesday, July 2nd, 2025.

Kenneth was born on September 4th, 1940 in Waterloo, Iowa. He is the son of the late Merle W. ‘Doc” & Irene E. Austreng Hamer. He grew up in Waterloo, Iowa and graduated from Orange Township High School there. Kenneth married the love of his life, Ann Bergmeier on February 6th, 1960 and the have shared over 65 years of life and love together.

Kenneth is survived by his beloved wife, Ann Hamer; his daughters, Tara (Barry) Grimm of Dysart, Iowa and Jeanne (Mike) Spegal of St. Marys, Georgia.; his son, Greg (Missy) Hamer of Angola, Indiana; and his sister, Arlene Loerch of Marion, Iowa; along with 13 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren with two more on the way and 5 great-great grandchildren.

Along with his parents, Kenneth was preceded in passing by his brothers, Larry and Lee Hamer in Iowa; his daughter, Deborah Hamer Williams in Kingsland, Georgia; his grandchildren, Sarah and Joseph in Iowa; and his great grandchildren, Allison and Knox Palmer in Iowa.



A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, July 5th at 4 pm at Southeast Community Church.
