Larry Pope

Mr. Larry Lee Pope, age 65, of The Rock, GA passed away on Saturday, June 27, 2015, at Spalding Regional Hospital

Mr. Pope was born in Jonesboro, GA, on May 11, 1950. He was preceded in death by his father, Arthur Pope, and son, Shawn Pope. He loved to spend time with his family, hunt and fish.

Survivors include his wife of 42 years, Karen Fincher Pope; daughters and sons-in-law, Samantha and Shayne Light of Zebulon, Kimberly and Chris Battle of Soddy Daisy, TN, Lois Alvarez of Cedartown, GA; 12grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; mother, Johnnie Pope Ingram of Monticello, GA; brothers and sisters-in-law, Richard and Tammie Ingram, Cecil Ingram, Jr. of Monticello, Emmett and Belle Ingram of Missouri; sisters and brother-in-law, Wanda and Tony Cornett, Margie Shumate of Oxford, GA, Clare Ann Groves of Jacksonville, FL; many nieces and nephews.

A visitation for Mr. Larry L. Pope will be conducted on Monday, June 29, 2015 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. and on Tuesday June 30, 2015 from noon until 2 p.m. at Heritage Funeral Home. Friends may visit with the family on Monday and Tuesday.
