Mrs. Laura Lee Kent, age 79, of Milner, GA passed away on Monday, July 31, 2017 at her residence.
Mrs. Kent was born January 11, 1938 in Griffin, GA to the late Raymond and Mildred Leach. She retired from AEP Industries as a print operator after 27 years of employment, and was a member of Family Worship Center in East Griffin. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Eugene Kent.
Survivors include her daughters and sons-in-law, Diane and Delton Rodgers, Brenda Cobb, Debra and Don Smith and Rita Cobb; sons, Vernon J. Cobb, Jr. and Richard Mark Cobb; sister Patsy Boyen; brother Wayne Leach; 9 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; and 3 great great grandchildren.
Funeral services for Mrs. Laura Lee Kent will be held on Wednesday, August 2, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Heritage Funeral Home. Pastor Gary Taylor will officiate. Interment will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family Tuesday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
