Lelius Franklin “Frank” Waddell 62, of Jacksonville, Florida, passed away unexpectedly early Friday morning June 4, 2010.
Frank Waddell was born on September 18, 1947 in Jacksonville, Florida. He is the son of the late Lee Alvin and Versie Ree Waddell. Frank graduated from Paxon Senior High School in 1966, where he played several Varsity sports, including football, track and field. He was an active member in the Army National Guard Reserves and a member of Trinity Baptist Church in Jacksonville, Florida.
Frank Waddell, is survived by his wife, Sharon O’Brien Waddell, of Kingsland, Georgia, and his five children, Lelius “Lee” Waddell (and wife April), Angela Lynn Waddell Kerr (and husband Terry), Christopher Waddell, Steven Waddell, and Travis Waddell. He is also survived by his two sisters, Winnie Waddell, June Waddell Hunter (and husband Randall); and his three brothers, Richard Lee Waddell (and wife Cindy), Charles Arthur Waddell, Keith Alvin Waddell (and wife Maryse). Also, remaining are several grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and special friends.
Frank Waddell will always be remembered as a kind and loving husband, father, and brother. He will be greatly missed.
