Mrs. Lillian K. "Kitty" Cook-Morgan, age 84, of Griffin, GA passed away on Tuesday, November 1, 2016 at Brightmoor Nursing Center.

Mrs. Kitty Cook-Morgan was born on October 14, 1932 in Griffin, GA to the late Albert Franklin Cook and the late Gertrude Josephine Glover Cook. She is also preceded in death by her daughter, Bonnie Wright; sons, Tony Morgan and Stephen Morgan; grandson, B. J. Morgan; sister, Jacqueline McKaig; brothers, Raymond Joseph Cook, and Donald Franklin Cook; nephews, Stephen Owen and Scott Cook; and great nephew Jason Clark. Mrs. Cook-Morgan worked for William Carter for 53 years and retired at age 73. She graduated from Milner High School and was a member of Rock Springs Church.

Mrs. Kitty Cook-Morgan is survived by her sister, Evelyn Alexander of Griffin; brothers, Phillip Cook of Gordon, GA and Robert Cook of Augusta, GA; granddaughter Kelly Wright of Philadelphia, PA; great granddaughter, Lillian Wright; and many other family members.

Funeral services for Mrs. Lillian K. "Kitty" Cook-Morgan will be held Friday, November 4, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Heritage Funeral Home. Dr. Benny Tate will officiate. Friends may visit with the family Thursday, November 3, 2016, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
