Linda Dyal

June 12, 1946 — December 10, 2022

Proverbs 31:28. Her children arise up and call her blessed.

Lou Dyal was surrounded by her children when she passed away Saturday, December 10, at her
home in Kingsland.

Linda “Lou” Dyal was born on June 12th,1946 in Ambrose, Ga. to the late Orville and Ethel Lee
Griffin. She was born again in 1968 when she and her husband Robert Dyal committed their
hearts to Christ. Hearing the call of God into the ministry, they sold their business and dove
headfirst into preparations to pastor. Over the next 54 years, Lou’s practice of loving God and
loving others would include founding two churches, fostering and raising children, and
ministering tirelessly to people in her community. Her consistent willingness to invest in those
around her earned her the title of Mom and Nana to numerous families.

Lou Dyal always said that she would rather burn out than rust out, so her ministry to the church
extended until her final breath. Her knowledge of the Word of God inspired others to study the
Scripture diligently and apply each passage to their daily walk. Though she is gone, her
testimony of a life yielded to God will continue in the hearts of those who knew her.

Lou Dyal is survived by her daughters, Shannon (Ricardo) Arreola and Jeanine (Adam)
Kabasakalian, all of Kingsland, Ga.; her sister, Janice Taylor of Jacksonville, Fl.; her brother,
Brian (Lyn) Griffin of Woodbine, Ga.; her grandchildren, Josiah (Payton) Arreola, Lydia Arreola,
Caleb Kabasakalian, Noah Kabasakalian, Ezra Arreola, Silas Arreola, Phoebe Kabasakalian,
Luke Kabasakalian, Jude Arreola, Eden Arreola, and Priscila Arreola.

Besides her parents, Lou Dyal was preceded in passing by her husband Robert Dyal, her son
Arthur Steed Dyal, and brothers Danny Griffin and Charles Leverett.
