Linda Mcsweeney

Ms. Linda Susan McSweeney , 49 of Jacksonville and Kingsland passed away at Lanier Manor in Jacksonville on Saturday February 2nd, 2008.
Ms. McSweeney was a Charlton County, Georgia native. She was born in Folkston on June 28th, 1958 and is the daughter of the late Virgil Rabon and Constance Brown Rabon. Susan graduated from Camden County High School and went on to earn her BA in nursing from Valdosta State University. She married Jack Wesley McSweeney on February 11th, 1978 and they shared their lives together until his death in May, 1992. As a registered nurse, Ms. McSweeney was on duty at Gilman Hospital and St. Marys Convalescence Center in St. Marys, Ga. and at Shands Medical Center in Jacksonville to name a few. Her passion was in caring for family and friends. Susan will be deeply missed.
Ms. McSweeney is survived by her mother Connie Rabon of Kingsland; her children, Josh and Miranda McSweeney both of Kingsland, her sister Elizabeth Holts of Kingsland, her brother, David Rabon of Kingsland, her grandchildren Jackson Scott, Madison Jade and Caleb Blaine McSweeney, plus several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service was held at 6:00 PM Wednesday February 6th, 2008 at Coastal Camden Funeral Home. Pastors Mark Thornton and Bob Hughes presided.
