Mrs. Loretta Driver
May 8, 1940 – June 28, 2019

Loretta Bullard Driver, age 79, transitioned into heaven from her home in Griffin, GA on June
28, 2019. Loretta was born in Griffin, GA on May 8, 1940 to the late Mr. Julius Frank Bullard
and the late Mrs. Nonie Bullard.

Loretta accepted the Lord at an early age and joined the Macedonia Baptist Church in Pomona,
GA. She was a loving person and a devoted wife and mother. Loretta as a 1959 graduate of
Fairmont High School. She went on to begin her career in the textile industry and worked for
Southern States in Hampton, Georgia for over 20 years. She retired from Southern States in
2004.

Loretta was married to Mr. Glover Samuel Driver for 54 years. From this union, one son was
born, Samuel (Tiger) Driver. Loretta was a loving person and a devoted wife and mother. She
loved gardening, cooking, painting, and laughing.

She is survived by her husband, Glover Samuel Driver; a son, Colonel (retired) Samuel “Tiger”
Driver and his wife Stefanie Shopshire Driver; grandsons, Samuel Dylan Driver and Nicholas
Raymond Driver; sisters, Genie Brown and Mattie Sue (James) Walker; sister in-law, Naola
Askin; brother in-law, Winson (Wanda) Driver.

Funeral services will take place at Heritage Funeral Home, 1512 Williamson Rd, Griffin, GA,
July 3, at 12:00 pm. Burial will occur at Oak Hill Cemetery, Griffin, GA immediately after the
home going ceremony. Repast will occur at Heritage Funeral Home immediately after the burial.
Flowers can be sent to Heritage Funeral Home, 1512 Williamson Rd, Griffin, GA or donations
can be made in lieu of flowers in Loretta’s name to the Alzheimer’s Association.
