Mr. Louis Dale Anderson, age 85, passed away in the late hours of Wednesday, January 29th, 2025 surrounded by his loving family at his home in Woodbine, Ga.
Mr. Anderson was born on April 10th, 1939 in Southport, NC to the late William and Alma Anderson.
Mr. Anderson’s strong faith and service to God was at the core of his life. He loved his family dearly and he always wanted the love of his life right by his side, always. He was a man of few words, but when he spoke, you knew where he stood. He loved fishing, woodworking, Southern gospel quartet music and telling jokes. He was always willing to be the handyman for all of his neighbors. He will always be remembered for his dedication in service to his home church and as a loyal provider for his family.
Mr. Anderson is survived by his beloved wife, Mary Anderson, of Woodbine, Ga.; his daughters, Eileen (Dennis) Westover of Dallas, Ga. and Pamela (Jarrett) Meadows of Woodbine, Ga.; his grandchildren, Douglas (Lauren) Westover of Murfreesboro, Tn., Sara Westover of Dallas, Ga. and Rebeka (Hunter) Holmes of Woodbine, Ga; his great-grandchildren, Reid, Madalyn, Scarlett, and Cora; brother in law, Larry (Debbie) McEachern; his sister in law, Sharon “The Warden” (Randy) Palmer; niece, Suzette (Rock) Harrell, and nephews, Kim (Lindy) Carter and Steven (Tara) Anderson.
Besides his parents, Mr. Anderson was also preceded in passing by his sister, Jeanette Emma Carter; and brothers Robert and Samuel Anderson
The Anderson Family will receive friends from 2 pm – 4 pm Sunday, February 2nd, 2025 at Coastal Camden Funeral Home in Kingsland, Ga. Funeral Services will be held at 2 pm Monday, February 3rd, 2025 at Woodbine Church of God with Pastor Troy Taylor and Rev. Chris Ogden presiding. Interment will follow at Colesburg Cemetery in Woodbine, Ga. Dennis Westover, Jarrett Meadows, Hunter Holmes, Douglas Westover, Kim Carter, and Steven Anderson will serve as pallbearers. Honorary Pallbearers will be Bill Miller, Randy Palmer, Harold Smith, David Millan, Daryll Boggs, and Steven Miller.
