Lucy Arnold

Mrs. Lucy Marie Reeves Arnold , age 72 years old passed away at her residence in the early morning hours of Sunday, December 3 rd , 2017 in St. Marys, Ga.
Mrs. Arnold was born in Rochester, New York on April 30 th , 1945. She is the daughter of the late Walter Henry Reeves & Lucy Mary Carlotta Reeves Benintende. Her family shared of her, “ On Sunday, December 3rd, 2017 we not only lost our dear, sweet, loving mother, Lucy Marie Arnold, the world also lost a gentle soul, who brought love in so many ways and whose smile could brighten even the darkest day. Mom passed gently in her sleep, waking to the glories of God in His Kingdom of Heaven, now reunited with our father, Gerald Kenneth Arnold, her soul mate, in eternal peace. She is the loving mother of five children; Kenneth Eugene Arnold, Annemarie Arnold, Carol Ann Arnold (Kent), Robert Lewis Arnold and Ralph Pratt. She also enjoyed seeing her ten grandchildren being born, with four bearing eight great-grandchildren, yet she had plenty of love to go around. Though we will all miss her in so many ways, we are all blessed to have her as the best and most loving, caring mother, grandmother and great-grandmother anyone could ever wish for. We will always remember how she made us laugh with her quick wit, how she held us when we needed to be nurtured, the way her smile wiped away tears and how her love touched all those who came to know her. Her memories will live on forever in our hearts and her spirit now soars high with those we’ve lost to guide over each and every one of us. This is why we celebrate her beautiful life, choosing to remember her fondly and with the grace she brought to all of us for 72 wonderful years.”
Mrs. Arnold is survived by her children, Anne Marie Gray of Jacksonville, Fl., Carol Ann (Larry) Kent of St. Marys, Ga., Kenneth (Kathy) Arnold of Palm Coast, Fl., Robert (Brandy) Arnold of Orange Park, Fl. and Ralph (Jennifer) Pratt of Sanford. Fl.; her sisters, Gladys Jeanne Talerico of Opelika, Al., Gwen Reeves Morton and June Reeves-Davison, both of  Des Moines, Ia.; her grandchildren, Danielle, Gerald, Andrea, Michael, Jonathan, Donald, Alyssa, Robyn, and Mason; and her great grandchildren, Payton, Haylee, Livian, Miles, Aleena, Avalynn, Kara, Kristine, Lylynn, Lucas, Brynlee and Nova.
Along with her parents, Mrs. Arnold joins her husband, Gerald and her grandson, Brandon in Heaven.
A private memorial will be held by the family at a later date.
