Mrs. Madge E. Bonacci, age 57, has gone home to be with her Savior. She passed away February 26, 2013 surrounded by her family, at her home in Griffin, Georgia. She was so thankful for the seven years the Lord gave her with her family as she battled cancer.
She was born in Delhi, N.Y. on May 21, 1955. She grew up on a dairy farm in New York State. She graduated from Canton College where she met her future husband, Joseph Bonacci. Shortly after their marriage, they moved to Georgia. She was a member of Christ Church in Griffin.
Survivors include husband, Joseph Bonacci; mother, Audrey Ackerman; and 8 children, Ann Solomon and husband Kevin, Ryan Bonacci and wife Cyndee, Mario Bonacci, Monica Coleman, Audrey Hopkins and husband Matthew, Cristy Heath and husband Matt, Heather Bonacci, Michael Bonnaci and wife Chasity, 13 grandchildren, 2 sisters, 2 brothers and numerous nephews and nieces.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, February 28, 2013 at 4:00 p.m. at Berachah Bible Church, 310 Corinth Road, Jonesboro, GA 30238. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to Christ Church, 912 Mockingbird Lane, Griffin, GA 30224.
