Margaret Eddinger

Ms. Margaret Bryant Eddinger , age 85, passed away in the morning hours of Thursday, March 2nd, 2017 at the Senior Care Center in St. Marys, GA.
A native and lifelong resident of St. Marys, GA, Ms. Eddinger was born on December 4th, 1931 to the late Lewis and Sarah McMahon Bryant. She was a member of the St. Marys First United Methodist Church for many years. Ms. Eddinger retired from Gilman Paper Company in the St. Marys Kraft Bag Division after 50 years of service. When she wasn’t at work, you could always find her in her yard, raking leaves, gardening, and enjoying her time outside. Anyone who knew Ms. Eddinger knew she never met an animal that she didn’t like. She fed all the neighborhood cats and took in many strays. She was a member of the Veterans of Foreign War in the local auxiliary of James Jared Brown because of her late husband, Carl’s service in the United States Navy. She will be missed greatly by those who knew and loved her.
Ms. Eddinger is survived by her family, Janice Campbell of Kingsland, GA, Jaimee Garcia of Kingsland, GA and Justin Campbell of St. Marys, GA.
Besides her parents, Ms. Eddinger joins her beloved husband, Carl Stanton Eddinger, Jr. in Heaven.
A visitation for Ms. Eddinger will be held from 2 to 3 pm Saturday, March 4th, 2017 at the St. Marys United Methodist Church in St. Marys, GA. Funeral Services will follow at 3 pm with Reverend Tom Jones presiding. Pallbearers will be the men of church. A private burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery in St. Marys, GA.
