Mrs. Margaret Sargent, age 87 of Riverdale passed away Tuesday, November 6, 2012. Mrs. Sargent, a native Atlantan, attended Girls High and is preceded in death by her husband, William Sargent and her son, David Sargent.
She is survived by her 5 children, Bill Sargent of Athens, Ronnie Sargent of Sharpsburg, Lynda Greaves of Concord, Bobby Sargent of McDonough, and Mike Sargent of Lawrenceville. She also leaves behind 12 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.
Funeral services for Mrs. Margaret Sargent will be conducted Thursday, November 8, 2012 at 12:00 PM in the Chapel of Heritage Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Sherwood Memorial Park in Jonesboro. Daughter, Lynda Greaves, will officiate. Friends may visit the family on Wednesday, November 7, 2012 from 6-9 PM at the funeral home.
