Mrs. Marijean Braswell, age 84, of Griffin, GA, passed away on Saturday, May 30, 2015 at Brightmoor Nursing Center.
Mrs. Braswell was born on August 27, 1930in Atlanta, GA to the late J. B. Griffin and the late Mae Griffin. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Luther Carl Braswell, Jr. Mrs. Braswell attended Georgia State College for Women in Milledgeville, GA. She worked as teller for First National Bank of Griffin and retired after many years of service.
Survivors include her son, Kevin Braswell; granddaughter, Jamie Braswell; grandson, Justin Braswell; great-grandson, Janson Braswell; and daughter-in-law, Janice Braswell.
Funeral Services for Mrs. Marijean Braswell will be held on Tuesday, June 2, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Heritage Funeral Home. Dr. Bill Hardee will officiate. Interment will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery. Friends may visit the family from 11:30 a.m. until the service hour on Tuesday.
