Mrs. Mary Rachel Ary , 75, of Woodbine passed away at her residence on Friday morning, March 12th, 2010 surrounded by her family.
Mrs. Ary is a native of Knoxville, Tennessee. She was born January 28th, 1935 and is the daughter of the late Hubert and Virginia French Justice. Mrs. Ary was married to her beloved husband, the late William Thomas Ary until his passing on October 8th, 2007. They shared 55 years together in which much of the time she was a military wife and mother. She was an instructor at Pak’s Karate in Kingsland where she helped with the Tiny Tigers kids. She loved to be on the go in her big Chevy pickup truck. Flowers were her passion. While her husband and family were in the military they traveled all over the world. If you have ever seen Mary, you have also seen her attachment, which she carried around 99% of the time; Sweetie, her beloved baby dog.
Mrs. Ary is survived by her son Thomas F. Ary and daughter-in-law Nita Ary of Woodbine; her sister Evelyn Young of Texas; two brothers, Louis Justice of Key West, Fl., and Hobie Justice of Bryceville, Fl.; her grandchildren Naomi, Salena, Tommy, Tiffany, Angela, Neil, and Scott; and her seven great-grandchildren. Besides her husband and parents, Mrs Ary was also preceded in death by her brothers Bob and Charlie Justice.
A visitation will be held from 9 – 11 AM on Monday, March 15th, 2010 at the funeral home. The funeral services will follow at graveside at 1 PM, Monday at Lawnwood Cemetery in Kingsland with Pastor Dave Gittings presiding.
