Mrs. Mary Ann Davis, age 77, passed away on the evening of Wednesday, June 30th, 2021 surrounded by her family at her home in Woodbine, Ga.
Mrs. Davis was born on September 17th, 1943 in Warwick, Rhode Island to the late John Lord Sr. and Loretta H Lord Lang.
Mrs. Davis enjoyed cutting grass with her zero turn mower, sitting on the back porch watching the wildlife especially the deer and birds. She loved to fish and in her younger years enjoyed camping/fishing trips. She was known as an avid bookkeeper and bus driver in Camden County. She loved hearing her children sing and never knew a stranger. If she met you and loved you she adopted you as one of her own. She had many children in love. As a Christian woman she was very forgiving and always had a smile on her face and would help anyone that was in need. She will be greatly missed by many.
Mrs. Davis is survived by her husband, Wayne Davis of Woodbine, Ga.; her daughters, Jewel (Donna) Harvey of Waverly, Ga. and Juanita (Randy) Douglas of Waverly, Ga.; her son, Joseph Harvey, Jr. of Kingsland, Ga.; her sisters, Betsy (Ralph) Marr, Joyce (Jesse) Whittle, and Mary (Billy) Clark; her brother, Paul Lang, Jr;. her 9 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Besides her parents, Mrs. Davis also joins her brothers, John Lord, Jr. and Richard Lang in Heaven.
A visitation will be from 6 pm to 8 pm Sunday, July 4th, 2021 at Coastal Camden Funeral Home. Funeral Services for Mrs. Davis will be at 11 am Monday, July 5th, 2021 at Forest View Baptist Church in Woodbine, Ga. with Pastor Jody Davis presiding. Interment will follow at Lawnwood Cemetery in Kingsland, Ga. Chris Peterson, Steven Douglas, Joshua Douglas, Matthew Douglas, Danny Douglas, and Brandon Minter will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Ryan Minter, Aaron Hammons, Jose Mendez, James Noyes, and Jay Sheppard.
