Ms. Mary Alice Manning, age 78 of Bullhead Bluff, passed away in the early morning hours of Sunday, August 29th, 2021 at St. Vincent’s in Jacksonville, Fl.
Ms. Manning was born on February 10th, 1943 in to Winokur, Ga the late James and Estelle Harris
Mary Alice was a kind, loving woman who loved her family wholeheartedly! She cherished her husband, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She wore many hats during her life time. She was a caretaker for many family members she was an awesome cook for family and friends on a daily basis. She loved gardening and just helping out with anything and anyway that she could! She didn't care if she knew you or not if you needed help she was going to be the one to help you out!! She loved playing cards with her family... Especially Mary Manning, Clifford and Thereisa Manning! You could hear them laughing throughout the bluff. She will truly be missed by everyone that loved and knew her!
Ms. Manning is survived by her daughter, Lisa (Russell) Galloway of Jacksonville, Tx.; her sons, Mark (Trish) Manning and Britt Manning, all of Bullhead Bluff, Ga.; her sisters, Beatrice (Jimmy) Cowart of Hilliard, Fl., and Maxine (Johnnie) Everly of Callahan, Fl.; her brothers – Elmo (Caroline) Harris and Elton Harris of Hilliard, Fl.; her sister-in-law, Debbie Harris of Hilliard, Fl.; and her brother and sister in law, Clifford and Theresia Manning; her grandchildren, Tabbatha (James) Todd, Allison (Matt) Sonnenburg, Alicia (Jeremy) Herndon, Aaron Galloway, Devon (Gina) Jones, Rene (Charles) Happoldt, Travis Manning, Shana (Brittany) Manning, and Brandon (Keltsey) Manning; her 18 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Besides her parents, Ms. Manning also joins her beloved husband, Carroll “Hoppy” Manning, her sister, Faye McLaurin; brother, Mitchell Harris and sister in law, Janice Harris in Heaven.
A visitation will be held from 11 am to 12 pm Thursday, September 2nd, 2021 at the Manning Cemetery in Bullhead Bluff. A Graveside Service will follow immediately at noon Pastor David Manning presiding. Please observe protocols for COVID.
