Ms. Melissa Darlene Brantley, age 54, passed away on Friday, April 23rd, 2021 at her home in Woodbine, Ga.
Ms. Brantley was born on December 28th, 1966 in Aiken, Sc. to Evelyn Brantley and the late Pete Brantley.
Ms. Brantley’s family will always remember her for the love and care she had for her plants. She always had beautiful flowers in her yard and worked hard to keep it maintained. She was a fighter and remained strong for her family until the end. She is tending her garden in Heaven now and finally getting the rest she has needed. She will be missed dearly by those who knew and loved her.
Ms. Brantley is survived by her daughters, Lindsey Vincent of Folkston, Ga., Alisa Dixon and Heather Dixon of Woodbine, Ga.; her sister, Marion Davis; her brother, Eugene Brantley; her grandchildren, Kaylee Cook, William Cook, Payton Vincent, Trace Barnett, Aubrey Barnett, Bradley Waldron, Weston Barnett, and Kace Waldron; her mother, Evelyn Brantley; and her boyfriend, Michael, who will try his best to maintain the beautiful garden Ms. Brantley created.
Besides her father, Ms. Brantley also joins her sister, Charlotte Dixon in Heaven.
A private inurnment will be held In Colesburg Cemetery in Woodbine, Ga.
