Mr. Michael Kurt Baxter, age 62, of Albuquerque, NM, formerly of Griffin, passed away Thursday, October 29, 2015.
A Buckhead, Georgia native, he was a graduate of Georgia State University. He had a passion for British sports cars and scuba diving, and was an avid drummer.
He is survived by his son, Christopher Baxter, his brother Craig Baxter, and his sister Jenny Baxter.
A graveside funeral service for Mr. Michael Kurt Baxter will be conducted on Sunday, November 8, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at Oak Hill Cemetery. Reverend Terry Butler will officiate. Friends may visit with the family on Sunday from 1:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Heritage Funeral Home in Griffin.
