Mr. Michael Lee DeGarmo, Jr., age 49 of Woodbine, Ga., passed away on the evening of Saturday, December 28th, 2024 at Southeast Georgia Health System in Brunswick, Ga.

Mr. DeGarmo was born on August 5th, 1975  in Harrisburg, Pa. to Susan Wilson DeGarmo and the late Michael DeGarmo, Sr.

Mike was a man of many talents, whose love for life, family, and work left a lasting impact on all who knew him.

Mike was a master pool technician, recognized for his unparalleled skill and dedication. For years, he took great pride in his craft, earning the respect and admiration of colleagues and clients alike. His precision and expertise were unmatched, and his work brought joy and peace of mind to countless homeowners.

Beyond his profession, Mike was a gifted musician who could play any instrument he picked up. His passion for music was a defining part of who he was, and whether he was playing for family and friends or jamming on his own, the joy he found in music was infectious. His creativity and talent were limitless, and his ability to bring music into every part of life made him a source of inspiration for those around him.

Above all, Mike was a devoted husband and father. He loved his family with all his heart, and his unwavering support, wisdom, and kindness were the foundation of their lives. His love for his wife, Samantha , and his son Matthew  was immeasurable. He was a steady presence, a protector, and a source of endless love and encouragement.

Mr. DeGarmo is survived by his beloved wife, Samantha DeGarmo, of Woodbine, Ga.; his son, Matthew Lytle of Woodbine, Ga.; his mother, Susan DeGarmo of Jacksonville, Fl.; his sisters. Dawn Lewis of Quarryville, Pa. and Christine Chester of Jacksonville, Fl.; his nieces, Emma Paucar and Macie Lewis; his nephews, Jordan Paucar and Kemit Vaughn; his brother and sister in laws, Yasmany Paucar, Jessica Paucar, Hunter Reyes, Taylor Crews, Haley Lester, and Zach West; and father and mother in law, Marc and Pam Reyes.

A visitation will be held from 3-4 pm Thursday, January 2nd, 2024 at Coastal Camden Funeral Home in Kingsland, Ga. Funeral Services will begin at 4 pm in the Woods-Wainwright Chapel of the funeral home. Interment will follow in Lawnwood Cemetery in Kingsland, Ga. There will be an end of life celebration at the Woodbine Pier as well.
