Mrs. Mildred E. King, age 90, of Forest Park, passed away on Monday, September 19, 2016 at Brightmoor Hospice surrounded by her family.

Mrs. King was born in Cambridge, VT on March 30, 1926 to the late Lee and Mae Davis, the youngest of 13 children. She is also preceded in death by her husband John King and her 12 siblings. She graduated from Marshville High of Vermont, and loved knitting, crocheting, tatting and needlework.

She is survived by her sons and daughter-in-law, Gregory Harold and Jeanette Moody, Sr. of Fayetteville and Henri J. King of Snellville; four grandchildren Lynette Bowles, Greg Moody, Jr., Marisa Sierra and Trevor King; and six great grandchildren, Cory Bowles, Christal Bowles, Christin Moody , Gregory Moody III, Luke King and Remy King.

Funeral Services for Mrs. Mildred E. King will be held on Wednesday, September 21, 2016 at 1:30 p.m. in the Chapel of Heritage Funeral Home. Pastor David Hornbuckle will officiate. Interment will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery. Friends may visit the family one hour prior to the funeral at the funeral home.
