Mrs. Mildred Levette Thompson, age 89, of Griffin, GA, passed away on Saturday, December 20, 2014 at Spalding Regional Hospital.

Mrs. Thompson was born on April 5, 1925 to the late Lloyd Brown and the late Grace Brown. She was preceded in death by her husband Benny Thompson and brothers Everett and Billy Brown. She was a member of Crestview Baptist Church and was formerly employed by Thomaston Mill.

Survivors include daughters and son-in-law Patty Thompson of Griffin, GA and Jane and Richard Gallimore of Douglasville, GA; grandson Bradley Gallimore and great grandson Kross Gallimore of Douglasville, GA; niece and her husband Vanessa and Reverend Hershel Sizemore of Macon, GA; nephew and his wife Terry and Joann Brown; aunt Maynard Brown; uncle Reverend Merlin Brown and cousin Gloria Baker of Griffin.

Funeral services for Mrs. Mildred L. Thompson will be conducted on Tuesday, December 23, 2014 at 3:00 p.m. in the Chapel at Heritage Funeral Home. Reverend Hershel Sizemore will officiate. Interment will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery. Friends may visit the family on Tuesday, December 23, 2014 from 2:00 pm. until the service hour at the funeral home.
